1888.12.26 Winter Blooms

As found in the December 26th 1888 Humboldt Daily Standard.

“It will, no doubt, be consoling to our Eastern readers to learn that roses, lilies, daffodils, violets, pansies, chrysanthemums, hollyhocks, fuchsias, and numerous other flowers, are fragrantly blooming at present in the gardens of this place.”
