1888.12.29 Slingshot

As found January 1st 1889 in the Daily Humboldt Times.

“Some boy, who was standing near the railroad track in the vicinity of Flannagan & Brosnan’s mill last Saturday, threw a small rock from a sling-shot at the rear of the passing train. The rock passed through the window and struck a passenger seated at the other end of the car on the hand.”
